Dr. Hayre understands the pain his patients are undergoing because that pain is the reason he specializes in this field. He had tried everything and nothing worked for his shoulder pain until another doctor had given him an injection.
Dr. Hayre started his training at The University of British Columbia where he received a Bachelors of Science (Pharmacy) and a Bachelors of Arts (psychology) and later obtained his Master of Science in Occupational & Environmental Hygiene.
Dr. Hayre obtained his medical degree from The University of Calgary and has been practicing in the Lower Mainland for over 10 years.
He is an American Board of Addiction Medicine Certified Physician and his work with addiction medicine led him to focus on pain management and intervention techniques
which resulted in extensive additional training for ultrasound guided procedures.
Dr. Hayre has been successfully offering these procedures as a treatment option for patients prior to surgery for over 4 years.
He is also supporting the training and development of new physicians as an Associate Clinical Professor with The University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Medicine.
Dr. Hayre enjoys running and is training to run a full marathon. He completed his first half-marathon in 2021.
He recently earned the Registered in MusculoSkeletal Sonography recognizing expertise in the use of ultrasound for musculoskeletal conditions.
